This is so perfectly painted and fits beautifully in the palm of your hand.
The enclosed leaflet reads:
"Mesa Verde Pottery is located below the majestic Mesa Verde Plateau in southwestern Colorado. This area is the homelands of the Navajo and Te Indian people. Pottery making has been a tradition in this area for over 1,000 years. The pottery produced in our facility is individually hand-painted and signed by Native American Indian artists. Designs are original reflections of the rich heritage of the southwest Indian culture. Lead-free glazes are used making our pottery safe for food and drink. Non-glazed interiors, however, should not be used for liquids. We are confident this piece of Native American art will please you for years to come."
Measures 3-1/2" in height x 2-1/4" across the opening.
In very nice condition - there was a couple of spots that I thought were chips but I believe it's part of the larger pattern.
